1. Information we collect

Depending on how you contact us, we may collect your name, company, work email, country, company website, phone/WhatsApp, requested service, timing, Korean counterparty/event, location, inquiry message, attachment filename, source page, referrer and campaign parameters. If you voluntarily send documents, those documents may contain additional business information.

2. Why we use it

We use inquiry information to assess your request, communicate with you, prepare a quote or scope, perform approved services, maintain business records, prevent spam/abuse and comply with legal or accounting obligations.

3. Legal and operating entity

Korea Ops Desk is operated by JS Network Inc., Republic of Korea. Privacy questions may be sent to colin@koreaopsdesk.com.

4. Retention

General inquiries and related business correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact unless a longer period is required by law, accounting/tax obligations, a contract, dispute preservation or a legitimate business need. If an inquiry becomes a client engagement, records may be retained for the period required for the contract and applicable legal obligations.

5. Attachments

The website accepts only specified business-document/image formats up to the published limit. The temporary server copy used by the form is deleted after mail handling. Copies delivered to authorized business email systems may remain with the related correspondence for the retention period above. Do not upload highly confidential material if an NDA is required; contact us first.

6. Service providers and cross-border processing

We use hosting, domain/email and communications providers to operate the website and respond to inquiries. Some providers or communications services (for example, email delivery, LinkedIn or WhatsApp when you choose to use them) may process data outside Korea depending on their infrastructure. We disclose or transfer information only as reasonably necessary to operate the requested communication/service, meet legal obligations or with your consent.

7. WordPress inquiry storage

Submitted inquiries are stored privately in the WordPress administration area so an email-delivery problem does not cause an inquiry to be lost. Access should be limited to authorized persons responsible for the request.

8. Cookies and analytics

The launch site uses essential WordPress/security functionality. We do not intentionally use advertising pixels as part of this theme. If analytics, advertising or other tracking services are added, this policy should be updated and any required consent mechanism implemented.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information where applicable, subject to legal and contractual retention duties. You may refuse to provide optional information. Required inquiry information is necessary for us to assess and respond to the request.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures for a small B2B website, including access controls, form validation, limited file types, rate limiting and secure hosting practices. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
