Questions clients should ask before assigning Korea-side work.
Are you a certified inspection company?
No. Standard Korea Ops Desk assignments are commercial field support and reporting. If your decision requires certified QA/QC, engineering inspection, laboratory testing or a formal audit, we will say so and the specialist work should be handled by a qualified provider.
Can you guarantee a supplier will respond or perform?
No. We can make direct contact attempts, visit when access is arranged and report what happens. We do not guarantee another company’s response, financial condition, production, delivery or future conduct.
Do you take commissions from Korean suppliers?
We do not accept undisclosed supplier commissions on assignments where we are engaged to screen, contact or evaluate that supplier for an overseas client. Any relevant conflict or compensation is disclosed before proceeding.
What if a factory refuses entry or photography?
Access and photography are controlled by the site. We ask the client to help arrange access in advance where appropriate. If access is refused or restricted, we document what happened and apply the access/cancellation terms in the quote or SOW.
How do we pay?
First-time fixed-scope assignments are normally prepaid by PayPal Invoice or international bank transfer. Larger or repeat projects may use staged or agreed business payment terms.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. If confidential information needs to be shared before the scope is agreed, contact us first. We can review a reasonable mutual NDA before you upload or send sensitive materials.
Do you provide legal representation, customs brokerage, IOR or freight forwarding?
Not as standard Korea Ops Desk services. Regulated or specialist work should be handled by the relevant licensed or qualified professional. We can coordinate with specialists when that is part of an agreed scope.
Who actually does the work?
Assignments are scoped and overseen by Colin W. Jung. If a specialist or local partner is appropriate for part of an assignment, that arrangement is disclosed and agreed where required.
How quickly do you reply?
We reply within one business day (KST) and usually much faster. For urgent matters, WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach Colin. Actual execution timing depends on scope, location and counterparty/site availability.
What if Colin is unavailable on the required date?
Availability is confirmed before the quote is accepted. If the requested timing cannot be supported, we will say so before you commit. Work that cannot be performed is not silently substituted with an unknown person.
