Korea Electronics Show 2026 opens at COEX in Seoul on October 13, bringing electronics, AI applications and industrial components together for a four-day exhibition. This year’s program also includes CES Asia Unveiled Seoul, a collaboration between the Consumer Technology Association and the Korea Electronics Association that connects the Korean event with preparations for CES 2027.

The 57th KES runs through October 16 in COEX Halls A and B. It is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources and organized by the Korea Electronics Association, according to the official English overview.

CES Asia Unveiled Seoul adds an international preview

In an August 19 announcement, the Consumer Technology Association said CES Asia Unveiled Seoul would take place in partnership with KEA during KES. The program is intended to showcase Korean companies preparing for CES and introduce technologies ahead of the Las Vegas exhibition.

CES 2027 is scheduled for January 6–9. The Seoul program gives overseas business teams an earlier opportunity to examine Korean technology companies and establish contacts for subsequent discussions.

Opening keynote on October 13

The official opening-keynote program starts at 14:00 on October 13 in Room 401 on COEX’s fourth floor. It lists CTA President and CEO Kinsey Fabrizio and CTA innovation-and-trends executive Brian Comiskey, alongside speakers from NVIDIA Korea, MangoBoost and HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering.

The program connects technology trends with AI infrastructure, industrial applications and Korea’s startup ecosystem. Visitors interested in these sessions can use the separate English keynote registration page.

Electronics sourcing across six exhibition themes

KES uses “AI in Motion” as its 2026 theme. Its published exhibit categories cover AI transformation, robotics, mobility, digital health and lifestyle, XR and spatial computing, and electronic components and materials.

The categories extend from on-device and industrial AI to collaborative robots, sensors, connectors, printed circuit boards and power-management chips. For buyers, the range creates scope to investigate both complete systems and the components that support them.

Turn booth discussions into a useful supplier shortlist

KOD practical analysis: A productive electronics sourcing visit starts with a defined requirement. For a component, bring the part number or specification, target quantity, intended application and required documentation. For a system, describe the operating environment, interfaces and the work it needs to perform.

Use a consistent question set across shortlisted companies:

  • Which model or configuration fits the application, and what technical information is available?
  • What are the sample process, minimum order quantity and quoted production lead time?
  • Who handles export sales, integration questions and after-sales support?
  • Which documents and answers can the supplier provide after the show?

Record the company name, product reference and responsible contact alongside each answer. A short list of open questions makes the next email or call more focused. When a promising contact becomes an order candidate, KOD’s Korean supplier verification checklist provides a structure for the next checks.
